PRIVACY FIRST POLICY

INKLY

Last Updated: February 28, 2026

Your privacy is our top priority. We've built INKLY to be as transparent as it is powerful.

Data Collection

INKLY is designed to be a privacy-first tool. We do not collect, store, or transmit any personally identifiable information (PII). No email addresses, names, or browsing histories are ever sent to our servers.

Use of Permissions

To provide its core features, INKLY requires the following permissions:

  • contextMenus: To allow you to highlight text via the right-click menu.
  • storage: To save your highlights locally on your browser.
  • activeTab: To apply the highlight colors to the page you are viewing.

Data Storage

All highlights created using INKLY are stored locally on your device using Chrome's secure storage API. We have no access to your saved data.

Third-Party Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or share any user data with third parties. Since no data is collected, there is absolutely nothing to be shared.
